Dr. Maxim Bondarenko
Dr. Bondarenko is a General Dentist with interest in all aspects of comprehensive dental care. He is particularly passionate about dental prosthesis and dental implants. He has taken many continuing education courses to further his knowledge in surgical dental procedures.
Dr. Bondarenko is attracted to cosmetic dentistry by the very nature of the creative and highly technical problem solving it involves. The ability to enhance the appearance of a patient’s smile is incredibly rewarding, and Dr. Bondarenko works closely with his patients to design and create their ideal smile. Dr. Bondarenko’s open and relaxed communication style means that he gets to know all his patients and understand their oral health needs and goals.
In his spare time, Dr. Bondarenko enjoys spending time with his wife, baby son and family. He is an avid outdoorsman and loves to fish, hike and go camping.
Dr. Sonam Sabharwal
Dr. Sonam Sabharwal graduated from one of India’s prestigious universities and successfully completed the Canadian Dental Equivalency Process. She is a detail-oriented dentist who is committed to providing high-quality, patient-centered care. Known for her strong patient management skills and professional values, Dr. Sabharwal believes in building meaningful relationships with her patients while delivering the highest standard of dental treatment.
A dedicated lifelong learner, Dr. Sabharwal regularly participates in continuing education courses to stay current with advancements in dentistry and enhance the care she provides.
Outside of her professional life, Dr. Sabharwal enjoys spending time with her family and maintaining an active, healthy lifestyle. In her free time, she enjoys hiking and exploring nature to rejuvenate her mind and spirit.
Dr. Madhu Verma
Dr. Madhu Verma (Maddie) grew up in Chandigarh, India, and earned her dental degree in 2007 before completing a Master’s in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery from Baba Farid University of Health Sciences in 2010. She has been practicing dentistry since 2011 and relocated to Vancouver in 2022 after several years of clinical practice in the Middle East.
Dr. Verma has a special interest in minor oral surgical procedures, including wisdom tooth extractions, complex dental extractions, and the management of minor oral pathology. She is certified in Adult Minimal Oral Sedation and Nitrous Oxide Sedation and regularly participates in continuing education programs to stay current with advances in dentistry.
In addition to private practice, Dr. Verma serves as a Clinical Instructor in the Oral Surgery Department at University of British Columbia. She is an active member of several professional organizations, including the Indo Canadian Dental Association and the Fraser Valley Dental Society.
Dedicated to compassionate, patient-centered care, Dr. Verma strives to make every dental visit comfortable, stress-free, and tailored to each patient’s needs. Outside of dentistry, she enjoys hiking, traveling, dancing, badminton, and water sports.

We want the financial side of your dental care to feel as straightforward as possible. Mount Pleasant Dental Group follows the current BC Dental Association Fee Guide, and we’ll provide an estimate for recommended treatment so you have a clear understanding of expected costs.
We offer direct billing to dental insurance providers and our team can help you navigate your coverage and submit predeterminations when appropriate. We also accept the Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP) and are happy to answer questions about using your coverage at our office.
